Looks like Charles's technique relies on a special-purpose film punch as well. He does not reference a source, and I expect that this would not be a really cheap item.
It would be fun to do this; I also had loads of fun with the Viewmaster when I was a kid, and we still have one around the house somewhere.
I've seen a stereo viewer that takes two 35mm slides; it belonged to an engineer at Northrop Grumman. It was relatively ancient, I'm guessing 1950s. |
