Hi, I'm a young photographer/cinematographer in the DC area. I want to shoot more commercial work. I was wondering if anyone reading this forum might be able to shed some light on how to get into this line of work. I do know that many people say you have to develop some relationships with ad agencies, ect...but my big question is how? And are there other ways to get into this work without ad agencies (depending on how you look at them, they are sort of like middle men...)?
