I have been through all the photos on the Science Challenge, done my voting, left a comment here and there and then went back to really decide if they all met the challenge since that was discussed in another thread.
What are my qualifications to answer this question? Am I a scientist? No. Do I have a degree? No. Did I work in a Science and Discovery Center for over 1 1/2 years and run the Pre-School Science Hour for over a year, planning and excuting programs for the 7 and under group? YES!
And guess what, in one way or another, every single photo in the Science Challenge meets the Challenge in that it is working in one area of science or another. So if you wonder, does a picture of plant meet the science challenge, yes it does. A picture of an insect meets the sciene challenge, I did an entire month on bugs alone and could have done a couple more. So each picture should be judged on it's qualities and other factors.
