Hi All,

I need some help for a friend of mine. He was in the Sahara recently and had trouble with his Sony T30 and a 2 Gig Sony Mem Stick Duo Pro. His photo's ended up looking like this:




Any idea what went wrong, how to prevent it? Also any chance of salvaging these pics?

Have you tried another memory card to see if the problem is the card?

yes I agree that this is an obvious thing to try first.

Hi All,

It does appear to be a problem with the memory card. Is there anyway of salvaging the images.

Mhhh one way of getting me to join ;)

Yes Sam is correct it is / was definately the (brand new) Memory Card.
I fitted another and no problems at all.

I should have realised the problem as I could not resize the pictures while on the trip. (In hind sight).
