I don't know the answer to this, but something weird just happened. For a couple of minutes the web site was not responding. Then when I got my home page, the stats were not available for my self portrait image. But the weird thing is that when the stats did come up, they didn't jive with the stats I had been recording before this temporary outage.
P.S. I just verified that a comment is missing from my self portrait too. I wonder if someones votes and comments were disqualified and removed.

Another active thread discussing this same thing..."is DPC slow" or something like that. It's on the front page right now.
Is it possible to delete comments made during a challenge. Earlier I had 13 on one of my challenge entries, now I have 12. Wierd.
I think that's been there, hasn't it? Hmmm...not sure. I just took a peek and the 'Remove Comment' button is available if you've made a comment or not. Wonder what wonderful message you get if you select 'Remove Comment' where there isn't one? :D
I could swear that my self-portrait had 7 comments before I went to dinner, and now it only has six. Stranger, the two newest were not checked "helpful", which is something I do as soon as I read them. I'm sure I checked them earlier today. System glitch?

That happens. If the author comes back and rewords there comment it will then be moved to the top of the list and will be unchecked.

This is interesting information, Judi, but I think something is going on with the system. There are too many strange things happening here, and my stats are definitely out of whack on the self portrait. I've been saving them in that voting analysis spreadsheet, and at the same time that I lost a comment the numbers were off.
i lost a comment about a guy giving me a 10 and now it is back and changed
I think we all lost that one, and got a new one! He probably realized his vote wouldn't count if they were all 10's.
Oh yeah, that is the one missing. Would also explain why my score went into flux and ended up lower :-( Why can't they take the 1s and 2s and leave the 10s, eh?
