My daughter, larimarie, entered four photographs in the Southern California Fair. One won first place, the others won third place! I'm so proud I gave her a DPChallenge membership so she could upload them and show them off.
We'll have to see about "genius", but she does have talent. She hasn't had any training in art or photography yet. I helped her with the postprocessing and printing, but all of the creative decisions were hers.
