The luxor is a pretty sweet hotel. 2nd largest in the world and just down the street from the biggest. I don't remember it being on the strip, but you can go through i believe it was the excaliber and that is on the strip. Everything is pretty easily walkable.
I'll be in town from the 6th-9th (leaving really on the 10th on a red eye) for some conference.
I'm interested in a night shoot (like from 7P-12A) if you guys are up for it.
I stayed at the Luxor a few years ago. it is on the strip and I enjoyed my experience there. The rooms are interesting because since it is a pyramid, the windows are all slanted at the appropriate angle.

We're doing a comedy show one night (I think Tuesday), I'll find out tomorrow and PM you guys - other than that show I'm a free beagle (for the most part).
JP gives David and Tommy two thumbs up as righteous dudes, if anyone gets the chance I highly recommend a gtg with them fellas. And Langdon, even though he was a near-gtg.

I'm 80% back, it took 22.5 hours to get from Vegas to downstate MI. We board the plane at 11AM Friday, at 1102AM the pilot says we're delayed, had he found out 5 minutes sooner we could have not boarded - as we're on we're staying on ...

While in flight we get a 200 mile diversion. Then O'Hare closes to incoming flights for a while, we have to go into a holding pattern. Unfortunately we're running out of gas so we have to stop in Moline to gas up ...

... 1.5 hours later we take off. We land in the now-open O'Hare, unfortunately our flight to MI has been cancelled. So we spend the night on cots in the terminal --- with 1000 of our now-closest, also-stranded friends who were affected by the O'Hare closeout sale ...

we get into Flint at 1200 PM this morning. Drive to Romeo, then drive to TC.
Tomorrow is the last step in the trek home, hopefully it's not delayed.
