When I go into Photoshop CS2 and make a selection and create a layer mask, then chooose select->inverse and make another layer mask on a duplicate layer, the two don't quite add up to the whole picture. Instead, there's a border zone of a few pixels.
It seems to happen no matter what selection tool happens to be on at the moment, and even when the anti-alias box is unchecked. But it looks just like anti-aliasing. And feather is set to zero.
Anyone got any ideas? Does creating a layer mask from a selection always result in an anti-aliased border?
