I have been doing more photography with people, but have encountered some challenges with how I present examples of my work to potential customers. My more interesting portraiture gets the most hits and seems to draw the most attention, but I think it may put off potential customers looking for more conservative work (seniors, corporate, etc). At the same time I enjoy the more interesting work and would like to push my way into some editorial and/or fashion work. The most obvious answer is to separate the work into two portfolios, but I have no idea how classify this type of people photography. I don't think interesting portraits and boring portraits will work, but maybe somebody has already thought through this and will share their wisdom.
Thanks!
Dave
