Would anyone be interested in a North texas GTG...maybe on thursday th 19th or that saturday the 21st? Maybe have it somewere in Sherman...like panera or hastings? I don't even know if there is any interest in this area or not...I just hate everything always taking place n dfw of houston.

what kind of places are there to shoot up there? i've never been to sherman.

well...
there are cemeteries, old historic type square...not too teribly much...but Dinison is only a few miles north and they have an awsome main street with art gallaries, the lake, old buildings and the such.

one reason I wanted to meet with people was to learn what all was here.

Up that way you can visit the Hagerman Wildlife Refuge but it's been recommended to have serious glass with you when you go (like 400mm or so). I'm sure there are lots of places around Lake Texoma that would be great to shoot at as well.

If you come down 75 to McKinney you can also visit the Heard Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary or get in touch with the coordinator of the photo tours of Pug-Mark Park over at //www.texasphotoforum.com and arrange a closeup photo op with three beautiful Siberian tigers. It's an amazing place to shoot.
