Just took it out of the box this morning. I've been fiddling with it but it's a shitty rainy day so I'm stuck inside. I've finished reading the book, so now I'm itching to go out and shoot a few hundred shots to get used to it. Must wait.

Finally a REAL camera!!!
Now just need to accumulate a few extra $$$ to get some extra lenses. What do other "Team Canon" members recommend to start off. I was thinking the 50mm f1.8 (bright lens)and the 75-300mm f4 (good range)from Canon.
Myself, I've got a Sigma 17-35 f/2.8-4.0 and a Sigma 70-200 f/2.8, a Canon 50/1.8, a Canon 28-105 3.5-4.5 and a Canon 105/1.8 Soft Focus - all together a collection that covers most of my work.
Did you get the kit lens? I'd definitely recommend a 50 - I have the 1.4 and it's my favourite lens, but the 1.8 is so cheap that it's a must (the only reason not to get it is if you have a 1.4).
Depends on your style of shooting. Though I haven't used either, consensus seems to be that the better Canon consumer zooms are the 24-85 and the 28-135 and a lot of people here (myself included) have a 70-200 of some sort. I have the 70-200 F4L and it's just awesome. As SharQ said, the cheaper zooms in that range have a reputation for being soft. The L series zoom lenses are typically sharper, usually have a constant aperture and exhibit less distortion than the 'consumer zooms' (non-L). The build quality is also better.
The prime focal length lenses are all very highly regarded and if you prize image quality over convenience and you don't want to spend big bucks on professional zoom lenses, that's probably the way to go. I have a 28 F2.8, 50 F1.4 and the 70-200 F4L and that's covers most of my needs for now, though I'll likely pick up the 17-40 F4L and a 300 F4L in the distant future.
Think that you're going to likely keep the lenses longer than the camera body.
