I ask mostly for my own edification, but why is it that people select subjects that give little or no information about what the thread should be about?
Do people think that people will be more curious, and therefore view a thread they would otherwise skip if they knew a priori it's subject? (Even so, how likely would this benefit the initial poster by receiving a reply?)
(Am I the only person that notices that subjects often give no insight into the thread's topic? For instance, I'm willing to assume that a large portion of the threads, possibly the majority, open with a quesiton about something--the subject "A question" doesn't really indicate anything). |
