Does anyone know how to convert a picture into a colour negative on Photoshoop 7.0? Really need to know. Thanks in advance

I think you want "Image" "Adjustments" "Invert"?

image/adjust/invert
will make all the colors negative
not sure it serves the same efect as a negative of film
