When I submitted this shot for "Image Without Subject" and was waiting for voting to start, I showed my mom and she said it was the best picture I had submitted to date.
And then voting started and I was scoring above a six. A SIX!!! To me, scores in the fives are wonderful, so imagine my excitement about a six. :-D
My power's been out for a few days. Today it came back, and I was able to check the challenge results. I knew I was going to be pleased with the score, but I about fell over when I saw that I was in the top 20!!!
I am so happy!!!! That "93%" on my profile page feels quite nice.
Congrats!! You got one of my top votes - the reason I didn't call it out in my "Underrated" post is I didn't address any of my favorites that were in the to 25, which included you!! Way to go, girl!!!

Congrats Kelly. My own Image Without a Subject was more of a joke (cuz I couldn't think of what NOT to shoot!), but you showed it can really be done. :-)
Dude. I just found out that it's currently the third highest ranking image for my camera type. Seeing as how there are only 72 entries, and a lot of them are mine... but still. I am not used to this, so it's all really cool. *huge grin* I have to say, this challenge was very good for me - my photography didn't just drastically improve or anything, but the challenge description fit really well with something I'm good at. So I'm not expecting any more really high scores soon. Just thought i'd mention it, but don't worry - it doesn't in ANY WAY diminish how happy I am and will continue to be! :-D

Congrats, Kelly. It's nice to see someone get a score they deserve and try so hard for. Not that other people don't deserve what they get...you know what I mean...congrats again.
