Kansas City GTG & hot air balloon rally

I just wanted to let you know about a Kansas City get-together that is in the works. The annual Huff 'N Puff hot air balloon rally is coming up Sept. 8, 9, & 10th in Topeka . Check out this site for more info on the rally : //www.huff-n-puff.org/ We will go out Sat. afternoon for the Launch and Glow. I will post some photos from last year later today. Let me know if you are interested.

That would be awesome, I am going to one of them here in Missouri the weekend after this one. I'd love to see both of them, but last time I went to Topeka they ran me out with some Tornados. So I am ascared of Kansas now. Have fun and post some photos to inspire me when I go to mine the following weekend.

There is plenty to do for the whole family. The balloons are HUGE and VERY loud if you are close to them. But there will be fire trucks and helicopters and the lake and 2..? playgrounds. Plus a few carnival-type games. Our kids had the most fun playing under a giant parachute. There are lots of balloons- 2 years ago I got 14 in one shot. Plus there might be some neat Silhouettes options too. YAY.

Well, if that challenge didn't end on the 29th, that might be cool. :P

No, seriously, it's a pretty cool show. The "glow" is neat, mostly because I like fire. ;-)
