I'll be in Vegas in October for a conference, and am debating if I should stay an extra day or two. I was looking into some of the national parks in the area, and wanted to know what spots would make for some great photography? Is Death Valley doable in a day, or would I need an overnight stay? The ghost towns in the area look like good subjects.
I know people have suggested Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire, but is there anything else?
Open to suggestions here...
