What would be good is when someone leaves a new comment on a "old" challenge, the number of comments on the profile page become bold or another colour until you have read it... hope that makes sense.

Or even an automated email saying 'someone has commented on xxxxxx photo, please go to //www.dpchallenge.com/xxx.

a lot of other sites do that.
