I shot video at a wedding Saturday afternoon and also filmed the reception up til the end of the grand march. I did not notice this while I was filming But when I started Editing the video of the reception. I noticed not once but twice the groom had his hand right on the butt of the maid of honor. This was not a Go Team pat on the rear. It was of the "please don't squeeze the charmin" variety. I always take wireless mic's off and pack up my digital recorder and audio gear after the dinner to avoid booze spills etc... So the only audio you hear in this shot is the DJ blaring.
The video is just some roaming shots I was taking between the dinner and the grand march, So editing it out of the finished DVD is not an issue. However I am wondering if I should leave it in so the Bride has a heads up that her new Hubby has a passion for squeezing fruits...
Anyone ever capture a picture like this at a wedding? If so did it ever make it to the couple or do you just keep it around for your own personal laughs?
I've never encountered that one. Please post a photo example so I can make a determination...
I know if I were the bride, I certainly wouldn't want it in my video.
But hey, she'll probably be friends with the bridesmaid LONG after the marriage has ended.
As tempting as that is. I can not post a photo of it online. At least not til I get paid. lol I have been thinking about showing it to the Groom. Asking him whats the deal? Perhaps it is one of the Love Triangles...

An Easter Egg is a section of the software or DVD that is hidden unless you know where to look for it. Make it a chapter that's not visible from the menu, or something like that. Software companies put in stuff like that as a gag, or sometimes to hide unsightly support options that would only get used if something goes wrong.

Don't have any personal stories, but I do have a recommendation - I'd leave it out of the DVD completely, and if you feel you have an obligation to tell the bride, then do so personally and tactfully. Really, I think she'll probably find out on her own (about other similar situations) so I would probably just ignore the whole thing if it were me.
Tempting as it may be, I'd probably file it in the MYOB box (mind my own business) and leave it there :) If you were a close friend of the family... then maybe I'd mention it to *somebody*. The fact that he did it obviously in plain view of people may just mean that these folks don't really consider this to be a big deal amongst themselves.
I'd say it depends how obvious it is. If it's not blaring then I would leave it in for the bride's benefit (she obviously should know). It might not turn out to be that big a deal (or it might ruin their marriage). If it is obvious then that's another thing because you can't say you "didn't notice".

I shot a co-workers wedding recently and caught some pretty intense dancing between the best man and maid of honor...the best man's WIFE was a bridesmaid. I didn't give the photos to the bride but mentioned seeing the two grinding on each other. The bride reported that it appearantly got worse as the night progressed...coat closet, swimming pool, hotel room...too bad I traded the camera out for a cold beer at the end of the night, who know's who I could have gotten into trouble. I have no idea what to do about your video footage...good luck.
I decided I am going to leave it out of the video and keep it our little secret. So Hush!!! I have viewed it again today and He is definitely doing more than fixing her dress. Both shots were somewhat candid, And not the subject of focus, They just happened to be in the background while I was filming some of the guest visiting at a table. Clear enough to identify them both. I am going to keep the master tapes which I usually turn over on payment but only because I have no place to keep them all I have no obligation to give them the tapes. Ill just tell them I am keeping it incase they ever want to make changes to the video.
