I've looked at the site, and run some queries. The results suggest that the collection isn't very deep. What does come up for the most part, appears to be a lot of variations of the same shots. I don't mean for that to sound demeaning. Joe admits they're growing.
We can look at it two ways:
1. Users (buyers) may bypass Blue Moon in favor of larger collections. Or...
2. Submissions to Blue Moon are less likely to get buried -- more likely to show up in a buyers query.
I too would like to know what the commission structure is. Also, does Blue Moon have sub-agents? How many photographers are already supplying images? Etc. |
