How can a print be 350 dots per inch with a high resolution rgb and yet be 8x12?
Need to know how to do this in PS please.
Kind of urgent.

Edit= the requirements are as follows.
All submitted art should be of reproduction quality. We accept color or black-and-white prints and transparencies (no negatives, please) and digital files on CDs with printouts. Digital files should be TIFFs or JPEGs, highresolution RGB, 350 dots per inch and approximately 8 x12 inches.
In the "Image Size" choice in the PS menu (Image, Image Size - I think) there are boxes where you can enter desired sizes, either in pixels or in inches. With the aspect ratio, you may have to do some cropping to get exactly 8x12. But that aside, the bottom-most box should say something like "DPI" or "Resolution", and that's the one you type 350 into.
I don't have PS in front of me, so sorry if my names aren't exact. I hope this helps - it's the only way I know of to alter the resolution.

Yeah, I have done all that already. This I do know.
BUT, two things.
When I crop a 8x12 I don't get the image that I am after. Too much crop.
Also, when I enter 350 dpi the image is way small imo, and when enlarged is really pixelated.
I dont have Photoshop, but I have PSP. I can do it like this:
1. Open resize page
2. Change resolution to 350 first
3. Change print size to whatever you want it. But, the aspect ratio will depend on your camera.
Your photo is approx 1.28:1. So ,the closest to 8x12 you can get is 12x9 or 13x10 without cropping.
