Ok, here is my little twist the peoples top three and the picture of the day threads. I'm letting the computer pick the photos randomly by number. Todays lucky numbers are: 16749, 35215, and 12740
I guess it's a silly idea, but here is my thinking. This site is to help people get better at creating photos. One way is to see really good photos from other people, and another way is to have people give suggestions for improvement on photos. It seems to me all we see are the photos that people like. That's where I thought of randomly displaying photos. Then the 'gems' aren't necessarily the only ones commented on. Like I said, it's a silly idea.
what would be lovely is if everyone that is so eager to comment would do so during the challenges... especially on the 'random' photos that you would normally skip right over...
I agree, though I know from experience that it is time consuming. There were so many in Nostalgia that I didn't comment on them. I did comment on most of the photos in Tools (though my some of my comments seem to have disappeared) and all of the photos in Insects. I have found that commenting on photos forces me to spend more time looking at it, so I'm trying to comment on every photo in the current challenges.
Ken....thanks for thinking my photo (OKC Memorial) was good enough to be included on your list for the day! This is one that was not entered in a challenge, just one I took and posted for sale. Always nice when someone notices your work...even if its not as good as others! Thanks again!
