I have Photoshop 4.0. Yes, it is old, but it works. I typically edit and save in PSD and when I'm done I resize, sharpen and save as a JPG using the slider to make the file as large as possible without exceeding 150kb.
I haven't noticed this before but my resulting JPG is darker than my PSD file. I'm trying to submit my next challenge photo...I like the PSD but the JPG is too dark. What can I do to fix this? I looked at the saving for web tutorial but I can't find the sRGB mode - I only have an RGB mode. Any suggestions? I could always brighten the PSD to offset the darkening effect...but it's not an optimal solution. |
