Yo Gang anyone looking for a decent Three MP cam that can interpolate to 6mp with a 10x optical zoom, //www.buydig.com has the Fuji S5000 for 398 bucks. That is 110 bucks below retail and the freakin Cam Came out this month.
That's a great deal for that camera for people that don't want to spend too much. You don't even need a "tube" for the lens, just a filter(s). Plus the 10x zooms is kick butt.
Is this the camera you helped that other person here purchase?
I read about S5000 and was excited until I thought about how 10x would be limited by the lack of image stabilization. Would love to hear the comments of someone who has used one. How fast a shutter speed is necessary to avoid blur from camera shake at full zoom?
