Let me start off by saying that I'm delighted with the result from my "Progress" entry. No complaints. Truly suprised and delighted. Yeah, the score was very good, but the best part was the comments. I received alot of comments and I want to publicly thank the kind folks that took the time to write something, even if only a quick impression, in that comment box under my picture. I appreciate each and every one of them - those that simply say "I like it" to those that say "I'd do this differently". It's all valuable feedback to me.
So here's the deal - I do NOT want any more comments on my picture, but I'd like people reading this to go pick one of the folks that commented during the challenge and visit THEIR portfolio. See if they had an entry in "Progress" or "Perspective" you might comment on, or something uncommented in a portfolio, perhaps.
With all the gnashing of teeth today on why people aren't satisfied with scores or comments or types of comments, or failure to see the "vision", I thought it might be nice to say "Thanks", so both sides of the story get air time, as they say.
This one stuck out in my memory as well. I didnt get to vote on all the entries but I remembered this one and was glad to see it as yours and that it did so well. Great job Deb!
Thanks Deb, the comment box checking heplful is nice but its also great to know that someone really did appreciate the comments received.

I wish I could've said something more helpful. I just said, "i like the contrast of colors and subject. Nicely done. Nothing to improve."
I gave you a 7 which is pretty high in my book (I grade on a bell curve).
Only thing I would improve was the subject matter. Of course, don't understand how the 2nd and third place winners scored too high. I gave them 5 and 6 scores. My favorite came in 34th place. The 1st place was in my top 3 (I gave it and the 4th place winner my only 9s).
