I made the top 10 for a local photography contest. First place is worth $500. If you have a minute, please go HERE and place your vote for your favorite photo. It it's mine, great, if not that's okay too.
It's the local newspaper site and I get no spam or anything from that site, so I believe you shouldn't have any issues with it. It might ask 6 quick questions of you on the front page but that's the only page...not page after page of stuff like some sites.

Hummmm still can't find web site, guess it's because too many dpc'rs are voting for you ;) and it's over-loaded.

Kind of funny, actually. Bob was standing right next to me at the fireworks. I had staked out my "spot", which was really a nice elevated area, but not very big. I saw him walk up with all his gear to the area below and he said hello and we talked a bit about photography and the contest. I told him there was room up by where I was if he wanted to climb up...so he did. Really nice guy (I had never met him before.)
If he wins, no problem. I like his photo and he had a great spot :)
By the way...I forgot to mention that you can vote more than once if you're bored today. I feel kinda funny about doing that, actually - but I figure the competition has the same option, so I suppose it's a fair deal.

I read a note on the page that you are allowed to vote 1 every hour.

If I come in first or second I will give away a free membership. I was the recipient of one earlier this year when budget was really tight before my trip. It only seems fair to return the favor. I'm not sure yet how I will base my decision on who to choose, but I'll think about it and post more details here later.
Since I'm probably a pretty solid second, I'm hoping this doesn't really come as bribery. You all are great at helping out and maybe this would be my chance to do something as well.
