uhm, I wasn't informed that this was going to be a porn food challenge... is it just me with the porn veggie images stuck in my head, or do most of these entries look erotic to anyone else?
Well almost all of the shots posted are recognizable pieces of food. Was interested to see how the non macro shots posted would turn out, and they're really good.

How can a clear image of a recognizable piece of food be an abstract???? I am so confused.
Judy, one definition of an abstract is a photo where you see the forms, colors, or patterns more readily than you "recognize" the object(s). So the objects can be recognizable, as long as the "focus" of the photo is form, color, or patterns.
That being said, there are a lot of shots here that I just can't seem to squeeze into that definition of abstract. Some excellent ones though too!
(I just got back from vacation and tried to do one in three hours but didn't get it done on time, so yet another challenge passed by ...)
