I went to my EXIF data, and my ISO number is nowhere to be found. I checked both my original and edited photos and they are not there. I used my brothers Canon S1 IS, and I am still fairly new to it. can I not submit my photo because of this?

Yeah, for some reason our cam tends to do that. Yes, you can still submit :)
