I have done some modeling for a friend of mine but that's been very low-key. I loved it and was thinking - not for real; it's just a thought in the back of my mind that probably will end up getting ignored and not done anything with - about putting stuff up on onemodelplace.com or craigslist. Because this is just a random thought, I only have one question:
Is it worth it if I have physical problems where I can't stand in one place for a long time? I can't sit in hard chairs and stuff like that either.

Sure, it's worth it, if it's something you want to do. A photog that is used to working with models could work around that. It's never good to over-exhaust your model anyway. I usually shoot in bursts and let the model relax quite a bit.

Oh cool. I guess I have always thought of it like how it seems from TV or whatever, that a model is just there under the lights and has to stand there for infinitely long periods of time.

Yeah, they get paid tens of thousands of dollars for thier shoots... and are well-trained in thier fields...
Most anyone searching for models at OMP don't expect that kind of stamina. :-)
I actually did a little modeling and started on OMP. Most OMP photographers understand that it's hard to sit still for long periods of time. As long as you are capable of standing still during the time of the photo. A lot of times the photographer will let you rest and then ask you to pose right before taking the photo. You do get your occasional a--holes who expect you to be the Bionic Man (or woman in your case) and expect you to twist in certain ways and hold it forever...but you can usually avoid those by asking the photographer how he shoots models.

also, I have never cared for omp... i use modelmayhem met a few cool people there. But HUGE WARNING
Unless you want to do Nude Modeling, you Need to say you DO NOT do it on your main page, so that it will help cut down some of the people who want to do tfcd/p with you. You will still get tons of people asking/begging/pleading.... but, it helps if its on your profile.

thats why you use low res watermarked samples anyway.
cause ya know... if someone wants the image, they will take it anyway. No matter how many 'saftey' measures you take. and some will do it just for the challenge... there have been many threads on it.

Yeah.. I didn't mean TFCD nudes only on MM, Ment it as a general warning, for any model, male/female.
