I was just wondering if anyone thought that got any particularly harsh comments recently. I have no problem with constructive critism, because most of the time I agree with the commentor, but I think comments like "pitiful" or "you didn't try at all" are kind of nasty. Am I the only one that is bothered by that?
no you aren't the only one who doesn't like those comments. They are not only unecessary but often you will find out if you click on the name of the person leaving the comment that they have no idea how to leave comments and those pathetic excuses for comments are all they know how to leave.

Don't see nothing wrong with his idea about a gun being "security",but photo composition is generaly good,flash reflected from the handle which takes 2 points ,contrast is low and sharpnes is not that good which takes another 2 points,I did give you 6 on that, LOL!
Like in my Back To School photo... I got so many comments saying "I wish my teacher had a butt like that" It really offended me. She being my Wife and all. If you cant leave comments that are helpful, Or comments saying you didnt like it (leave a reason why) so maybe we can go back and take a look. And do it right the next time. Then dont leave a comment at all.
Erm, the he's a she - with some quite nice work in my opinion.
For the record I like the image (and the fuss it's created) but no stretch of my imagination can fit it to the challenge! ;)
Christyrack's image is quite topical really - protecting one's home against burlgars has been in UK news a lot recently. I think the image raises important questions but I don't think that it necessarily demonstrates support for violence. Svetor's comment may be based on personal experience or just his strong opinion, and it's a bit curt but he's not left any offensive comments with any other shots. maybe he had a bad day!
