im just encountering a unusual incoming mails in my inbox, just yesterday i got 75 of this mails (i started receiving this emails for more than a week now)

somebody told me that this attachments are with virus, everytime i recvd this emails i just delete it.
any idea about this emails...just this morning i recvd more 100 emails with same attachments, when i reply to their email address, the said address is not existing.
I get an email about everyday in my landbountiful.com email address that is from admin@landbountiful.com. It says my email address is about to expire and to open an attachment to get it to keep working. I've been deleting it because I am the admin of the site and it's not going to expire.
I was getting a lot of emails once saying that the message I sent to (insert name here) was undeliverable because of a virus (even though I never sent an email to (insert name here). I got like 50+ of these in only a couple days. One of them was titled Re:Wicked Screensaver with no attachment. I contacted AOL because I actually don't send emails unless it's through DPC. So they said that it's called flooding to make you think you have a virus, so then when they send you an email titled "Protect yourself from email virus" you'll download it and GET a virus. However, the attachments COULD still actually contain a virus. If you don't know who sent it, don't open it.
Setzler gave me this link to scan for and remove the sobig virus IF I had it. Thank God I didn't. It's best to check and make sure and if you do then it removes it :) Hope this helps.

Yes, I have set up a number of filters that have been effectively dumping these into the trash, but I still need to go fishing through my trash file to be sure that none of my "legit" mail wound up being accidentally filtered there. With all of my spam/virus filters in place, there are occasionally some real pieces of mail that wind up getting filtered accidentally.
This whole thing wouldn't bother me nearly as much if I didn't have to sort through all of the filtered mail to be sure that I'm not missing anything important.
I get these everyday lately. I just delete them because I know I haven't sent the email they are talking about.
I just never open any mail if it isn't from someone I know. Safer that way.
