What did you use to hang it? How did it work out?

No but I did make my own muslin backdrop once...just remember to wear gloves! The wife asked me if I remembered to wear gloves about the time I had just stuck my left hand into the tub full of black dy. It took a week for it to finally wear off. The good news is the backdrop turned out nice. lol you live you learn

I have one that is multi colored..blue on one side and gray and white on the other. it is very heavy and don't ever get it wet. someone spilled water on it and you can tell. just have to figure out how to wash it without spending a fortune on dry cleaning.

I do have a another that is not muslim and is a 5x7. Love that..I can take it anywhere.

You should beable to find a tall stand looking thing ..dang..not sure what it is called but it has a hook at the top that holds it up. still very heavy piece of material so be careful.

I know it is probably very heavy. The water thing bothers me, did you get it from B&H? On B&H it claims that their collapsable muslin is waterproof. Also, the heaviness shouldnt matter for transport because it folds up into such a small circle.

hmm..mine isn't water proof.

I bought a 9x12 sheet of painter's canvas from Lowe's and put grommets on one end to attach to the stand. I use 2 inexpensive tripod stands that came with a light kit and made a crossbar out of PVC. Unless you look behind the canvas you would never know it is a cheap rig. I spent a fraction of what I would have to spend to purchase muslin and stands through B&H.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE B&H but the backdrop prices were just too much.
