Hi all!
To celebrate my upcoming 100th challenge entry, I have decided to "give back" to the community that has taught me so much. So..... on the night of my 100th challenge ending (which will be July 4th), I will purchase a membership for one of our aspiring funds-challenged non-member photographers.
If you fit this description, or know someone who does... drop a few lines saying why you or they need a paid membership and I will choose from the group suggested in this thread.
Hint: My choice will tend toward the photographer whom I think is most open and willing to learn from the DPC community, this will be key.

Mine was given to me by Ken as a Christmas gift, and it really made me happy, so I'm sure whoever gets your free membership is going to be really happy and thankful as well!

I was so lucky to enter a fun competition in January this year, when alfresco offered a free membership to a member. Sirbaz actually won the competition, but gave it to the closest non-member, which just happened to be me.
If it wasn't for "alfresco" & "sirbazz", I would not be a member today.
DPC rocks.....
Good luck to the person who wins this. I have personally learned so much in the past six months re DPC, but most of all, I have gained so many wonderful new friends.....

Hmm... wouldn't that person already paid for such a membership himself, no matter how fundedly challenged he may be? Still a noble thing to do though :)
I would like to be in on this. I have only paid for one month because I can't afford to pay by the year right now. Bills and rent are just to high where I live to spend money for my favorite hobby. I am hoping to come up with the $5 for July. If I can't I will just FREAK OUT!
I am having a blast here at DPC. It's a lot of fun to enter the challenges and receive comments and click that update button. Please take into account that I am adicted. I'm addicted to the update button! SO PLEASE HELP ME by giving me a years worth of fix!!!
:D I aspire to your level, Cam! Really, I have learned so much through my entries. DPC has forced me to challenge myself and it has improved my photography soooooooo much. I just hope to pass on the opportunity to someone who will get as much from the experience.
He is new to photography, but lives near me, and he is always bugging me to take pictures with him. He is pretty gung-ho but his parents wont let him spend money on a membership. I think he'd really appreciate it.
I also know that he is in Alabama this weekend, so you won't be able to get in touch with him until late sunday i think.
hiiiiiiiiii. i would love to be picked for the gift membership. i think thats a great idea. ive already learned so much about photography from this webpage and am hoping to learn a lot more.i would really like to compete in the member challenges with the advanced editing because i think i can come up with some good picture for them. i think i would love you forever if you chose me.
