Heading out for a softball tourney in Great Falls. I'm leaving a day or so early, looking for some photo site tips. Haven't been past Spokane before, any help would be appreciated. Taking 2 days to get there need a half way or so point to stay the night too......Thanks for the help...Joe
Welllll... Coeur d'alene is a cute little town just across the border from Spokane in Idaho... Lolo Pass over the Bitterroot Mts is about 33 miles southwest of Missoula is high and makes a good photo op. There is a lot of pretty country on the road to GF but nothing that just jumps right out at you... except...
Glacier National Park would make a great side trip and you could swing back down to Great Falls. That would be neat!

Thanks Steve, I've done a little research, not much stands out. Hoping to get some sunset/sunrise shots in the mountains. Should beable to find a water fall on the trip...lol. I'll be shooting a lot of softball in the next 2 weeks. Next week we are outside of Denver CO. for a tourney.

Yep it figures. Will prob. take a look. If the lighting is right the rows can develop cool shadows.
There's a bridge once you get into Washington, one of the last bigger city before you head up to spokane. This would be great night shot, maybe on the way back.
