Hi Everyone,

I am full of questions today. I have some photos that I have used on my site (and have added a watermark layer). Is there a way for me to delete that layer if I want to re-print the photo? I do have the original, but it would be easier if I could delete the watermark layer in photoshop.

Any assistance is appreciated!

If you have the watermark in a layer it is easy in PS without deleting it.

Simply click on the "eye" icon in the watermark layer and it is temporarily turned off. You can then turn it back on later when you want it again.

Once you have "flattened" the image (as is done when saving to jpg) there is no way to do what you ask. As Steve has noted, if you have your original .psd files with the layers intact, you can just delete the layer use used to add the watermark.

You can delete a layer by dragging it over the trashcan in the layers palette. Or you can just hide the layer when you want to print as stdavidson suggested.
