Thumbnails in Profile - DPChallenge Forums

Pentax DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF

I'd like to post some of my favorite photos in the Biography part of my profile page. I know this is possible as I've seen it done before.

Do I need a different code, or have I just mucked this one all up?

I added it to my profile by using the thread to upload all clickable thumbnails and then pasted into the bio.

That's what I did, but it doesn't seem to be working. I posted the same thing in the flower thread and it worked just fine, but not in my portfolio.

Press quote, then and copy all the info that is above except the (faidoi=quote) and the (quote) at the end.

When you do the (thumb)(/thumb) thing in the thread, the code is automatically generated.

when you post a thumbnail, it turns into a long hyperlink thing after you post it, you can't just use the short [ thumb ] ###### [ thumb ] text

so you can either post it and then go back, like faidoi said and then quote it to get the full text, or you can just find a thread that already has thumbnails in it, and quote that, but when you copy, make sure to look through and change the number to your picture number (twice per each code)

you've probably already figured this out, but here's just in case
