I am bit disaapointed with my score. There are some comments asking how I did it and some wondered if I used multiple light source. Here is the setup and PP.
Single Desk lamp behind the model(my wife). The camera seeting - Aperture 25, ISO 100 and shutter speed set to 13 seconds. Click the shutter release button. After 8 Seconds, put a black cloth in front of camera and asked her to move out of the frame. Removed the black cloth from the front of the camera at the last second and allowed light from the same desk lamp to enter for last one second.
I learned this trick here on DPC and tried but I guess failed to execute.

I don't think you failed to execute. The image is really cool. But perception is everything, and if it doesn't look like a single light source, then it doesn't matter what the truth is, people will score it down for not meeting the challenge.
Probably just got yourself DQ'd with this post.

That's funny, because intially I processed assuming it's basic challenge. This was one of another last minute entry. 10 minutes left and I tried to submit and noticed it was advance editing. Quickly reprocessed and entered with less than 2 minutes left.
After getting couple of commentes about multiple light source, I submitted request for self-validation. The entry is actually validated.

Correct, they just get voted down. What gets me is when they get voted down for when it appears that it DNMC. If I am not absolutely positive that it DNMC, I will assume that it does. We all deserve the benefit of the doubt.
Thanks for the comment. It's really helpful. I like the idea of the reflectors near the lense. Not sure if that might have prompted more voters to think of multiple light source. I wanted to title it "Enlightment", as in Medition terms.
I think this image also could have suffered from "voter-monitor-calibration-syndrome" Not all monitors are calibrated equally and dark images often suffer. I just looked at this on a work monitor and it is so dark I can hardly make out the person. The spot of light seems very bright.
This is a case of being too clever/tricky. The end image result was great (for you since you knew what it is and how it was done) - for the voters it left questions.

I agree with you it might have suffered with "monitor-calibration-syndrome". I know it's not a great image. The only expection I had is to score it above my current avarage(5.2). Sorry if it sounded like a rant, didn't mean it that way.
