I will be hauling my formerly frost-bitten self to Chicago Saturday morning for Globalcomm 2006 Monday and Tuesday; this leaves Sat afternoon, Sunday, or Monday after 4pmish as ample free time.
You know, I would totally be there except you've picked the weekend of my housewarming party :-) If you want to take the train down to Champaign-Urbana, you're more than welcome to come grab a burger with us!!
I cannot do Saturday at all, but you might be able to twist my arm for Sunday. Where did you have in mind? Last gtg we hit ALL of the attractions on the lakefront from the Planetarium to Navy Pier and everything in between. I would be more willing to do something different...like Lincoln Park Zoo and the lake front near the zoo. Do you have any strong feelings?

I'm conferencing at McCormick so I was planning on taking Monday or Tuesday after and do the waterfront up to Navy Pier - a nice little death march in the warm weather :)

I would definately consider it, but I'm commited to Chili Cookoff Friday, Saturday is WWE Smackdown Live (and my kid would kill me if I skipped out) and Sunday my boss is coming over to rototill me a garden...
Just visited Chicago again after GTG during memorial day week end. It's almost two hours of drive from my place, would not be able to make it again this week.
alfresco, I would still like to hit the zoo if you are up for it, only thing is I forgot about the Hyde Park art fair which is this weekend also. So, i was thinking about 2pm for the zoo on Sunday? Let me know.
