My first idea was to get into a speedo and sweat a lot, while holding a blow torch next to a fried egg that missed the stove burner. I guess it's a good thing I went with my second idea. ;-)
Judging by my score, though, it doesn't seem to have mattered.

Last 2 votes were 3's. I know I have alot (understatement) to learn but I really thought this would reach 5. At least I had a minimum of 2 votes of 5. Maybe I better stick with math.

This is my 4th challenge and each is worse than the last. I didn't think the 1st was as good as the rest of my entries. At least I'm not making the same mistakes.

You're doing very well Brenda considering how new you are. It takes a long time (at least it did for me!) to get in tune with the types of pictures DPC voeters like.
So even if your scores fluctuates in the beginning, it's not a bad sign.
You scored almost 6 in Holy Places and that is very commendable considering the people you are up against with camera equipment worth thousands of dollars (litterally!) and in addition to long experience. Some of them are also professional or at least semi-pro. But you still had many of them beat with your "faith contained" picture.
So... keep your head up - no reason to worry. You clearly have an eye for good quality photography :)
