When I tried to log on to the backend of my website today, I found out my account had disappeared, along with my site and countless nights of hard work...
The server hosting my site (operated by 2MHost) was seized by Homeland Security due to illegal content on the machine.
The message from Homeland Security read :
"...there is a possiblity that you will be able to receive a copy of the websites that do not contain contraband, but this will take some days, maybe weeks to accomplish."
Of course I have a backup and 2MHost is helping me to put it back but IT REALLY SUCKS anyway.
What do you expect - I still laugh on the news when you see the "FBI confiscated a compuetr from somebody for xxx" and you see a big guy carrying a monitor out to the car in the footage. I can imagine how well they could understand the concept of a shared server :-/
OK, I just wanted to let you know that I've managed to get my backup restored and up-and running.
Too bad I lost 2 months worth of entries but lesson learned : make weekly backups.

What a pain, can't they keep themselves entertained monitering phone calls and gutting FEMA?
