Something that really bugs me about watching/hitting the update this late in the challenge is...the last 5 to 10 votes always takes my score down! You'd think I'd get used to it or just turn it off.

Funny, mine seems to go up then. Sometimes by as much as a tenth of a point!

Lucky you. ;) No big deal, it just bugs me.
I had 5.84 with 230 votes and then at closing 5.8178 with 236 votes. Eight votes must have been thrown out because I finished with only 228 votes.

NAWWWWWWWWWW It's a case of the trolls conspiring together to get your hopes up by giving you a whole bunch of 10's and then yanking them away from you at the last minute... just to make you feel bad.

my personal theory is that some people did not managed to complete their voting, and thus their less-than-20% votes got forfeited during rollover.

I have no problems with the late night crowd. They always score higher for me than what I end up with. The worse are the Monday late morning/afternoon crowd. Someone needs to hack the site to stop those people from voting. :P
