Anyone interested in Cedar Point tomorrow. I know its short notice but I just found that the park is open. Great opportunity for photography and thrill rides.
Everyone I know is going memorial day weekend, or Father's Day. I don't think I'll be going though yet. It's still pretty darn chilly around here to be zooming around on some fast roller coaster.
That would be a fun place for a GTG sometime, although I don't think I'd want to be hauling any fancy camera stuff onto the Millennium Force, etc.! Cedar Point rocks.
Never been there. Been to Geauga Lake as a kid, and Sea World (now gone i think).
Kennywood is closer to my current home. Meeting a bride to be next week - i may get to shoot her wedding there in September - All I know is i'm not photographing from a moving coaster!
My kids get bored at disney world after riding coasters at ceder point!
Unfortunately, they the park doesn't like it when patrons try to take pictures from the rides. There are some amazing views, but I'm always getting scolded.
Wish I could go, but I have a photo session tomorrow. I used to live on the penninsula in Cedar Point...the Corkscrew was my window view. I really wish I would have been into photography at the time. Great place to visit!
Cedar Point is the S*!t!!! I'm going home for vaction from Iraq in June and one of my stops is going to be Cedar Point. Flying home to Austin, Tx. on the 16th. Coming to Ohio on from the 20th to the 25th. I think we are planning on going to the park on the 22nd of June. I have family that lives in Fremont, Clyde, and Sandusky.
We went to Cedar Point on Sunday 05/07/2006. Had a great time. There were no long lines. We never waited longer than 15 minutes for any ride. The Top Thrill Dragster was probably a three hour wait but I wasn't going to wait that long for it. Check out some of the pictures.
