Basically that's why I thought they weren't challenge worthy. I mean, it IS negative space, as the space IS negative, but it isn't negative space that really adds anything to the image. I disagree that the successful use of negative space has to show a sense of displacement or juxtaposition of sizes. Often negative space is interesting as just that, space, particularly if it has a nice shape to it. |
