oh, sorry ... i forgot to say that i WAS mad, but not right now or any more, now i'm more sumtin' like "confused" :-)
I guess the idea of bottling and selling blood offended her. She has the right to be offended by that, as well as to leave a comment to that effect. One 1 vote will not hurt your score that much. I gave you a 3 because it did not meet the challenge IMO, and I would like to see the top of the bottle. When you put your art up for voting/comments, you will get a wide range of opinions. I have gotten some I disagree with but I tend to shake my head and ignore them.
I haven't, and since I doubt that was actually blood either, I would assume I still haven't seen a perfume bottle of blood. The shot would not be anything new at all without the title.

How about you say nothing and LOL to yourself? At least she had the decency to explain her vote - I'm sure public ridicule will do a lot to encourage others to do the same.
Why not post the entire comment rather then edit it to your liking to better support your rant?

I think it's a fine comment. They told you exactly why they gave you a one. Shame on you for slamming them for saying one positive thing about your image???? If you can't handle people not liking your work, please stop showing it to people.

and... looking at her other comments, she truly is an asset to DPC with the comments she has made. I hope this (insert word of your choice here) thread does not discourage her from commenting in the future.

But couldn't the same be said (DNMC) for your entry in the Something New challenge? Please don't take this as me using your image to make this personal as I truly am not. Just trying to show how people might be a bit open minded before ruling a DNMC vote.
The image doesn't speak new to me as the box looks worn and the paint in the tubes looks to have been trimmed. The brushes also don't look uniform as there are stray bristles. However, it is a lovely image and I really like the lighting and colors. No way I would vote it down because "NEW" didn't really pop out to me.

Actually, they are a few years old, but have never been used. I did get a comment about them not being new. I thought about a PM, and about a thread after voting, but it was not my favorite shot so I decided not to bother. There have been many threads on meeting the challenge, and I prefer shots that do not only meet the challenge because of their title.

thanks, but i wrote in the begining of this thread that this is probably not rant and that i'm sorry :-), secondly i ALSO think her comment is OKAY as a whole ... the only thing i think is LOL and funny (at least to me) is that she gave 1 for originality (and it could be a typo nonetheless, right ?) ... so no hard feelings please coz i can handle perfectly okay all kind of comments and critiques ... i'm not for sure the guy who whines about the score and write PM's to dudes/dudetes that voted low on my photo and i will NOT stop showing my work :-) considering your statement about "... please stop showing it to people." (this is even funnier, hehe) ... so please stay cool, think before you speak and peace.
Heck they could as just said "? as in 'huh?'" Don't ask me what thats supposed to mean. But heck at least they took time to comment. The one thing I have noticed is you just got to roll with the punches. After all it could be worse, they could have said Awesome! 3...
