Hey everyone! I am looking for some tips on where to go in MI to get some good photos. I would like to get some good waterfall pics, but also some good farm pics, Lake pics, and so on so forth.
You might want to specify which part of Michigan you're going to be in - the Upper or Lower peninsula for starters would help. I'm in the Upper Peninsula myself and welcome any DPCers to stop for a visit and to go out shooting. Just PM me if you're going to be in the U.P.
If you get down to Monroe County you might try Cross Winds Marsh off I-275. No waterfalls or farms, but the marsh can be scenic at the right time of day. Lake Erie Metropark off I-75 at Exit #29 also has some interesting scenery, and Lake. I've been hiking Wood Tick Peninsula the last couple weekends, but I've been photographing the critters. It has lots of shoreline and driftwood. Its off I-75 at Exit #5 (Erie Road).
Is that where your from Pitsman? I was born in little traverse and lived in Alpena til '71. Been seriously thinking about getting back that way for a visit (need to visit Grandma in Petoskey). Got peeps all over the area there.
