I have been working on a shot for tonights challenge. It is currently 2596 x 1284. When I change to 640, one part of it gets jagged on one of the subjects edges.

Is there anything I can do?

I alwys bring the photo down in steps, so it gradually gets smaller. So I resize 3 or 4 times.

I have no idea if this has any effect, but someone told me at one time to do it that way, so I always have.

I think I figured it out...however, the 640 diminsions look very small to me!

Did, you put it in the contest? It seems to look larger once you get it in. I normally do 620 or 630, just because sometimes it wont take at 640.

I've heard of that recommended for upsizing (stair interpolation) but not for reducing the size.

I dunno, It may have no effect like I said.

But, I just always do it, just to see how it looks as it gets smaller....just to see what I am dealing with.

Just a quirky thing I do, thats all. :)
