I have spent a day and a half at the Swedish Zoo Kolmarden. It took about three hours to drive there, that´s why we spent the night at a Hotel inside the Zoo. Went there mainly to test my new Canon lens 70-200/2.8 L IS USM. I also used the Canon 75-300/4-5,6 IS USM and the Canon 100/2,8 USM Macro. In some (no. 011 and 012) I tested the 70-200 lens and a Soligor 2x extender. I think the 70-200 lens is a fantastic one. A little bit heavy in the beginning but you get used to it.
I have now had my Canon 10D for about 7 weeks and I still make very simple mistakes. When I went to see the dolphin show I set my camera ISO to 1600 because it was very dark inside. Then I went on shooting outside for about two hours and had forgotten to set back the ISO to a lower value.
One more mistake: When I use the extender I must set the camera exposure compensation to -1.5. This day I forgot to set it back. Went on shooting with the wrong settings for hours.
