Sort of a horrible commentary. If it don't have to do with a ribbon it doesn't matter. Damsel in a Castle is brilliant and I really enjoyed the Claude Chaloub shot. The bow motion is thrilling. Great images. Very abstract in their construction. Nice work... Dave
Hrghghmn. How was WOMAD? I was supposed to be there, with the Angel Brothers & Satnam Singh, but had a family committment - the guys said it was fabulous though. Cambridge made up for it.
Someone else has commented that posting a heap of shots together won't get you any critiques - and I'm going to prove that; like the Chaloub shots, but I see stage shots al the time, and TBH they're nothing special - though they are at least in focus, which is more than many manage. Like Bathtime and foot very much also - real use of the compact's DOF there.

I don't see a lot of stage shots, how would I improve that aspect of my photography?

IMO the best stage photographer is a guy called Nobby Clarke (no relation) who works mainly in theatre and is just mesmerisingly good.
It's both a science and an art: the science bit in getting the hang of how the hell you take good low-light shots. I suppose if I could really tell you what the trick is I'd be earning the money myself! That said, two things I've heard Nobby say: learn not to hesitate when your finger's on the shutter release - that split second is the split second when you'll lose the shot you were after; and secondly that it's all about interaction - though I guess that's easier with theatre than with music.
