Can anyone recommend a book that instructs on running a small (very small) business as far as keeping books and paying taxes go?

I have no idea where to start and I don't want to apply for my business license till I know how to handle my business finances correctly. The more simple the book the better.

I don't know specific titles, but one of the best sources for the kind of books you need is Nolo Press.
