This weekend Obsidian (Carl) will be in town and we plan to meet downtown to shoot blossoms, people, monuments, kites, and anything else in our way. Anyone interested can join us.
It will be cold and there is a chance of rain but it looks like the peak bloom time will start this weekend.
There is a kite festival on the Washington Monument grounds all day. I was planning on hitting that then going over to the tidal basin for an evening shoot of the blossoms. If anyone is interested, I was going to head over to the DC Fish Market for shots.
