If you really want to understand color adjustments in image post processing and basic non-destructive editing then Radient Vista's video tutorial titled "A Photoshop Reference: Essential Adjustment Layers" is a great place to go. The video is almost an hour long but you will learn how color adjustments interact with each other and get fundamental instruction on the use of the most commonly used adjustment layers in Photoshop. It is must viewing for newbie and veteran alike.

I'll add my voice to the chorus. I've watched several in this series of videos and this guy does an excellent job of teaching the basics of layers, as well as a philosophy of looking at an image and understanding why certain changes are necessary. Very helpful stuff.

I agree... although the Photoshop Elements is lacking some of the controls... which means I will probably break down and get CS2.
I downloaded a few different videos from them and everytime the sound starts to distort after a few minutes of playing.Does this happen to anyone else?
Thanks for the tip and link, stdavidson. I downloaded and went through the adjustment layers tutorial on Saturday and found it extremely informative and helpful.
Will definitely be looking at their other tuts when I have the time.
